Group Chief Procurement Officer
Emmanuel Erba is Capgemini Group Chief Procurement Officer since end of 2013. Building on his global experience and expertise from working for multi-billion euro organizations to further improve our cost reductions, move towards integrated supply chain & globalization of our operations he has put in place since then a world class organization internationally recognized. Furthermore, be it for category management, business partnering or digital procurement, strong practices have been built enabling Capgemini to better support its clients when it relates to sourcing and systems.
Prior to joining Capgemini, Emmanuel had a nine-year-long journey at SFR Group . He rose from the ranks of a Purchasing Director to become the CPO in 2009. At SFR, he also led the consolidation of Vivendi purchasing activities through a global network called “Purchasing Cloud” gathering the purchasing organizations of Canal+, GVT-Brésil, Maroc Télécom, Universal Music and Activision-Blizzard for a global spend of several B€/year. Prior to SFR, Emmanuel was with HP from 1996 to 2004. At HP, he performed various roles:
Manufacturing Engineer, Engineering Manager, Commodity Manager and Purchasing & Supply-Chain Director. Emmanuel also brings global experience from working in Melbourne, Australia for Eurocopter (EADS); Paris, France for PSA-Peugeot/Citroën and Illinois USA for Lafarge.
Emmanuel graduated from SUPELEC Paris (1994) and also underwent business and executive trainings at STANFORD (2003) and at INSEAD (2009-2010).
