Group Procurement Vendor Manager
Marco is the Danieli Group Procurement Vendor Manager. He’s been working with Danieli for 22 years and two years ago was appointed Project Manager for the software selection and implementation of the Group Supplier Relationship Management platform.
Due to his experience in Procurement procedures, he has helped the procurement process transformation introducing the commodity tree and consulting the Project team on the most suitable solutions for maximizing adoption of the new tool.
At the end of the implementation of Vendor Management and Sourcing modules and after start of operations he has been appointed Group Procurement Vendor Manager, collaborating with 200 buyers in more than 7 countries around the world.
Marco holds a University degree in Aeronautical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano. Before working with Danieli he accumulated experience in Manufacturing Time and Methods measurement and in Cost savings and control, working both in Italian Consultancy and Food/Beverage Industry firms.
